Warcraft Conquest - Patch 4.2
you have been making great progress in WoW. At Warcraft Conquest,
we've all been hard at work, getting ready to deliver everything
you will need to know for patch 4.2 and preparing for the new addon
module that I hope you guys have been eagerly anticipating.
I wanted to go through some in-depth questions with analysis,
or just some cool and easy break downs of the patch notes so
everyone can play a little catchup:
==> Warcraft Conquest
Our first question comes from Brian Liburd in Ohio.
I have recently just come back from a long break from WoW, in the
past I was an avid raider and PvPer and had little trouble finding
out how to do things in World of Warcraft. After being out of the
scene for so long, I had lots of trouble trying to get back into
the swings of things. Warcraft Conquest's membership area has
instantly put me back in the game and I am now starting to
accumulate a lot of the best in slot gear and some very nice arena
ratings! It's been amazing!!! Thank You!
Now for the question. With every advancement that happens on my
World of Warcraft character I feel that I am consuming an
increasing amount of time of playing, and because of this
sacrificing my real life in order to compensate. I'm scared that I
have started down a very slippery slope which will end with me
being glued to my computer screen and playing for hours and hours
on end. I really want to avoid this but to continue having great
success in World of Warcraft, what can I do?
You da man,
Brian
>>>MY COMMENTS:
Well then... welcome back!
I've noticed that the period of starting WoW again after taking
such a long break can be daunting for many people.
I think it's easy to think that you will slip into your old habits
of past expansions where you use to spend full days in WoW in order
to gain the epics you so eagerly have been hungering for.
For someone who use to be hardcore, that is just starting WoW again
after a long hiatus the following questions undoubtely crosses your
mind:
"I love this game, but I better not screw up my life"
"Will I ever be able to catch up to everyone else?"
"Gold farming is so hard, I just can't see how to afford the stuff
people are selling anymore"
...etc
Let me start by dispelling those fears, and saying that WoW is
nothing like what it use to be. What use to be hours and hours of
played time to get a chance at some nice gear has really been
watered down by blizzard and access to all the best gear now only
requires a very small commitment to obtain, sure you may need to
dish out some extra hours when new content is just released, but if
you are willing to wait the best things will be available to you
eventually.
I believe in teaching you strategies to help
you play the game more intelligently, quickly and maybe most
important of all efficiently. If you go into a raid knowing
everything you will need to know about the encounter, you have
already cut down the learning process by a huge amount.
Similarly if you step into arena knowing what spells and counters
the team may use against you, this will increase your win %
dramatically and allow you to skyrocket in the ratings much faster.
All of this contributes to saving you time in game, so you can have
everything you want, whilst still having a healthy and "normal"
lifestyle out of game...
I am a prime example of this, between juggling my time in WoW,
updating Warcraft Conquest and my full time job I am quite
stretched for time as it is, I really can't afford to devote too
many hours into raiding or doing rated battlegrounds. But because I
know the strategies to succeed I am able to limit my time in WoW to
a minimal, playing anywhere between 5-10 hours each week, which
converts to probably around 1 hour a day on average (but much of
that time is spent chilling in guild chat with friends).
As long as you stick to the guides and continue to follow the
proven and tested strategies (we have done the hard work for you)
which Warcraft Conquest teaches, you will have it all in and out of
game!
Hope you all found this useful, and read the full scoop here:

How To Make Gold While Leveling
How to Make OBSCENE Gold Whilst Leveling Your Alts
If you'd like to check out all of my different WoW education
programs, plus read the story of how I learned to reach the
pinnacle of World of Warcraft, just go here:
Here's another question I've been getting very often from Warcraft Conquest subscribers:
***WoW QUESTION FROM A READER***
Hey Max L!
Who says there's no so such thing as magic? When it comes to WoW,
Warcraft Conquest is PURE 100% magic. It is one of the major keys
that I have been using to really excel in heroics, raids, arena and
rated battlegrounds, EVERYTHING! Your stuff is pure platinum my
man! Looking back over the years of how I really use to suck in
WoW, I still still shake my head and say: "Man, this guy is good. I
can't wait 'till I can accumulate all the stuff he has in game as
well!"
And now to the question, I've been starting to level multiple alts
in order to make full use of your strategies, but it seems to
become a very expensive past itime using gold left and right every
few levels in order to keep in line with the gear to level faster.
What can I do in order to make this process less painful on my bank
account?
Roger, L. Mass
***MY COMMENTS***
I'm really excited as well for all the progress I've been seeing
from all our members, some of the feedback really makes me feel
good inside when I read them and this one is no exception.
Now onto your question, if anything leveling for me is a
painstakingly long and boring process, sure with all the new
heirlooms and guild benefits leveling is significantly faster than
it was before, but with each expansion that comes thats an extra
5-10 levels that you have to repeat again on another toon. There is
something I must make sure that i'm doing while leveling however, I
MUST MAKE GOLD. That's right, whenever I level I make it a goal
upon myself that I will be coming out richer at the end of the
day... and you should be no different. Here's some tips that will
ENSURE you are making and not bleeding gold from leveling.
Quest - After Level 68
At level 68 you should be heading into Wrath of the Lich king
zones, it doesn't matter how you have been leveling in the past,
questing is now the way to go if you want to make money (it's also
probably one of the most efficient ways if you know what you're
doing also), each quest will give you anywhere between 5-20 gold
reward and it really adds up over time "There's nothing boring
about Borean" especially when you're making 1000g to complete the
zone!
Never EVER Buy Gear
Apart from heirlooms (which you should be transferring betweeen
your characters like our membership area states). You should really
NEVER have to buy gear when leveling, there's plenty of avenues to
aquire gear whilst leveling from dungeons and quest rewards which
will insure you will stay in line with the leveling curve. Even if
you fall a little behind it won't make a huge difference to your
performance and a upgrade is probably around the corner in the next
dungeon available to you. It is especially important to remember,
that spending time in the AH negotiating prices with people slows
down your leveling, and at the rate at which we level now, that
gear that took you 1 hr to find could be replaced within 3. So,
just don't do it...
Choose your leveling professions wisely
If you don't mind leveling slightly slower, I would really pick up
mining and herbalism and level them whilst you are on your way to
85. Low level mats will always be in high demand for people
leveling up new professions for their alts and you can sell these
mats (or store them for yourself) for huge amounts of gold (just
watch some of the vids we have in members area on how to earn big
with low level mats and monopolizing the market).
Hope you found these tips useful everyone. I'll be coming out with
more great stuff within the next few days to share with you all!
